as I drift off, I start to sigh,

quietly in the distance I see the sunset

as my eyelids shut, I start to dream

listening to the sound of my favorite music in the background

I think of you, always wondering where you are, how you feel,

were we nothing near reality

I beg to let go of the stained guilt

the screaming and crying myself to sleep
