you ask me what is love?

you ask why must I love you?

here is my answer.

God IS love. he loved us before we were born

before we could ever love him.

God created us TO love, to forgive, 

for we do not create life, we do not destroy it,

only God has this power.

we have the faith and promise of love and to choose to love

no matter what you have done, said, or will do,

I might be hurt, broken, angry, happy,

but despite the wrong, the bad, the mistakes,

I will love you through it all,

wanna know why?

because loving you is the best thing i could have ever done and will do.

it is what I do best, and my heart has been attracted to yours,

requiring your presence, your beat, your touch.

no one else can make me happy, like you do dear,

we all make mistakes, show out, and show our worst,

things some people never see, dear one, this is what is done,

when you get the best of me, when we know each other,

and have loved at some point in time,

so that is my answer kind sir, why it is I must love,

for I was not created for anything better but to be loved, 

and to love in return. when I do this, everything else will be taken care of,
