so I was thinking...

people hurt, people bruise, people hate, people make mistakes, people love, people break, people need to know that someone is there.. so why are we so "busy" filling our time with the pettiest things: Facebook, school, boys, girls, dates, parties, etc. when there are so many people who need to know that someone really does care! there are a lot of people who have left churches, do not attend church, do not believe in God, religion, and all these things, mainly because we go through the motions not caring about anyone but ourselves..the sad part is this is not our intentions, but if we are not careful this is how it will end up. the church now has become so sad in our ways, going back and forth getting by and not realizing the whole point of the church is to help people to lead them to God's healing hand, not away from it. we need to get back to the reason we have church, what we are supposed to be! people from the church point their fingers, when in reality they need to be taken to the mirror to be shown their reflection and where they came from. God says the past is the past for a reason. I have always told people, without a past, we do not have a future. the only thing that matters is if we learned from our mistakes and have moved on. sins are all the same, some are just more noticing than others, but if we take a closer look, we see that filling our time and forgetting the reason why we are doing the things we do, is a sin.. which is letting other things come first in our lives besides our savior,. this is something not a lot of us think about because we are too busy looking at the noticeable sins such as getting drunk, doing drugs, and being promiscuous. if we step back for just a moment and take a second to look at our lives, we will find that we are just as at fault as anyone else. I pray many people read this and open their eyes to what is happening. we must check ourselves, before we examine other's lives and go around proclaiming what really is not out business in the first place.  in other words, if you are sick, find out what you have before you go around examining others.love God, love people. do not let time and being busy get the best of you and who you are in God
